Whales are curious creatures

Humpback whales and killer whales(Orcas) often come close to the boat to check what is happening as they are very curious. Catch a glimpse of other animals on the tour, such as sea eagles and all sorts of birds. Whale watching safari in Tromsø happens from November and lasts to the middle of January when they come up to Northern Norway to feed on herring.

Remember to bring your camera, as there is a good chance for fantastic photo opportunities.

We will pick you up in Tromsø center and take our boat MS Capella out to Skjervøy where the adventure begins.

Early whale watching – Get a jump on the others

We start the tour at 08:00 in the morning because we will then be the first boat that will arrive in the whale area out of all the other boats that depart from Tromsø.

We will then also spend longer time with the whales than other boats and we will be back at normal time, 16:00.

Oh, and do not worry about being cold during the whale safari, we hand out both insulated suits and hot drinks!
